Canada is a large country, blessed with ancient woods, ice carved lakes, high mountains and a rich history. It extends from the atlantic to the pacific ocean, kisses the arctic white lands and sea in the north, and shares the south border with a powerful neighbour, the us of america.
Alberta is one of the three "prairies" provinces of canada, being the other two saskatchewan and manitoba.
Alberta is rich in natural resources, such as gas and oil. But the most important quality of this province, to me, is its spectacular landscapes, from the prairies and foothills in the south, to the north covered by pine woods and the rocky mountains in the west.
In alberta we find the very first national park of the world: banff national park.
And in banff national park we find "beautiful banff", the little town by the river bow.
